Speaker:
It would be helpful to the owners of the Cranbury Station Restaurant
if they had an idea of how many diners they needed to set up for and serve on Spouse
Night. If your spouse or SO will be attending the November 15th meeting
please contact Walton Caldwell or Bob Virgadamo, before the meeting.
The Annual Pancake Breakfast will be held in the Cranbury School Cafeteria on Sunday, December 3rd. Cooks, servers, hosts, waitpersons and clean-up crew are needed. Please use the sign-up sheet at the meeting or speak to George Smith, Ed Lawson or Richard Pape to volunteer in a time slot.
A general appeal to all members: We are trying to keep our operating expenses to a minimum, and one way is through lowering our postage bill. If we can send The Jargon out electronically, we will save nearly $300 per year in postage. If you have an e-mail address, please notify the Editor. Your e-mail address will not be distributed outside of the Club, and will only be used for The Jargon and other necessary Club business. If you have e-mail capability, your participation in this program benefits all of us.
And speaking of the Operating Budget: If you have not paid your dues, please send a check to Dennis Kennedy as soon as possible.
Mark you calendars: The Second Annual Trenton Thunder Baseball Picnic will be on Sunday, August 12, 2001. More information will follow in January or February, 2001.
