This was Boy Scout night at the Lions meeting.  Mike Kaiser presents donation checks to Cranbury Scout Representatives Jerry Yochelson and Joe Kirkenir.

Matt Long, Scoutmaster, gave the Lions a fascinating talk about his High Adventure Trek to Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa.

Meeting 1/18/06

The Lions held a joint meeting with the West Windsor Lions Club tonight.

Richard Bezub of the Pinelands Preservation Alliance (http://www.pinelandsalliance.org) gave the Lions a multimedia presentation on the state of the New Jersey Pinelands.

Tonight was the annual Cranbury Lions Holiday party held at the Bog.  It was a joint party with the Hightstown Lions.

The Cranbury School artists came through in a big way this year in the Lions-sponsored Peace Poster contest.  The theme this year was "Peace Without Borders".

Halloween 10/31/05

The Cranbury Lions held the annual party for children in the Township.  Many Lions helped out - but special thanks go to Lion Rich Stannard for his MC duties.

Tonight was spouse night at the Lions meeting.  Tail-twister Peter Turner arranged a song for the spouses, brilliantly performed by Lions Frank Marlowe, Peter Turner, Richard Stannard, and Rusty Hankin (not pictured):

The Speaker was Thomas Nye who is the co-owner of "The Grape Escape" - the first and only wine-making school in Middlesex County.  He told us about how the school works, and what is involved in making wine.  The website is: http://gograpes.com

The Cranbury Lions announced a number of its annual honors for high-school students.  Lion Mike Kaiser presented the honors.

Brooke Hansen was awarded the Todd Beamer Scholarship:

Laurel Kanawyer was awarded the Stan Thomas award and the Dr. David Tudor Scholarship (a rare double!)

The Lions selected Jane Venanzi to attend the annual World Affairs Seminar.  She will attend a Lions meeting later in the year to report on her experiences:

Tonight was a Cranbury - Hightstown/E. Windsor joint meeting, held at the Masonic Lodge in Hightstown.

7th Annual Golf Outing 5/16/05

The Cranbury Lions Golf Outing was held on a beautiful day this year.  Following are some pictures from the event:

Tonight, the Cranbury Lions recognized several of the Honorary Members of the Club for their decades of service to the Club and the Community.  Lion Wayne Stahl was also recognized - his certificate will be delivered at a later time.

The Cranbury Lions held their annual Halloween Party at the Cranbury School.  This year we had about 60 kids showing their costumes off.

Guest speaker Patti Long showed the Cranbury Lions pictures from "Whispers From the Grave" - a village event held by the Historical Society to commemorate the Battle of Monmouth. Village residents dressed in period clothing and portrayed Revolutionary War veterans buried at the Presbyterian Church.

Pancake Breakfast 12/14/03

The Lions held their annual Halloween party in the Cranbury School gymnasium.  Everyone had a frightfully good time!
