About ARC

The Cranbury Township Arts Review Committee is composed of seven local artists selected by the Township Committee. The ARC members are responsible for reviewing all applications and selecting art to be displayed in Town Hall and the Gourgaud Gallery in particular. The art can be in any medium that can be displayed, exhibited, or performed in the Town Hall facilities.

The members of this committee are: Bob Virgadamo (Chair), Michele Hart, Madeline Hoffer, Merilee Meacock, Lisa Walsh, Tamara Woronczuk, and Howard Zogott.

The members serve for terms of one year.

Gallery Hours: Monday-Friday 9a-4p, Sundays Noon-3p.

There is a new Exhibit every month with an Artist’s Reception every First Friday.

2004

• January – Barbara Harding-Seibert – Pastels
• February – Bill Hogan – Watercolor and Sketches
• March – Watercolorists Unlimited – Places in the Sun
• April – Daniel Goldberg – Photography
      April 16 – Open Mike Night – Poetry readings, sponsored by the Arts Review Committee for National Poetry Month.
• May – Young At Art II Second Annual Youth of Cranbury Exhibit
      May 14 – Poetry by the Youth of Cranbury – sponsored by the Arts Review Committee, in association with the Cranbury Library.    (CANCELLED)
• June – Historic Photos of Cranbury – supplied by the Christiansen Family
• July – Linda Collura – Selected Works in acrylic, graphite, and prisma-color
• August – Different Styles - The Watercolor Works of Susan Stults Ewart & Linda Bradshaw
• September – Watercolors by Bob Virgadamo – featuring “Cranbury SkyScapes”
• October – “Mainly Asia” – a photographic display by Janet Paxton
• November – Pastels by Susan Winter
• December – Cranbury Gardens II – Works from Art in the Park

2005

• January – Rico Telofski – Pop Art Photography
• February – Young At Art III – Student Artists from Cranbury
• March – Maureen Stimmel - Watercolors
• April – Watercolorists Unlimited
      “Open Mike“ Poetry Readings (date to be announced)
• May – Drew Griffiths – “Abstractsand Caustics” (Acrylics)
• June – Watercolors by Kinga Soni

All Exhibits will open with an Artist’s Reception on the First Friday of every month.
