Cranbury Zoning Board

The Zoning Board of Adjustment is established pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70 The Board is responsible for hearing appeals regarding decisions or actions of the Township's Zoning Officer, interpreting the zoning ordinance and zoning map, reviewing applications or hearing appeals for variances from the zoning ordinance.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment is comprised of seven regular members and two alternates. Each regular member serves a term of four years and is appointed by Township Committee. Alternate members are also appointed by Township Committee and serve terms not more than two years. All members of the Zoning Board of Adjustment must be residents of the Township. The meetings of the Zoning Board of Adjustment are held in the Town Hall, Meeting Room at 7:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month.
